After the Telehealth consultation, the doctor may advise you to attend the practice in person for a face-to-face consultation. This will be at the discretion of the doctor.
Spirometry is a simple breathing test that measures how well your lungs are working.
It helps your doctor assess how much air you can breathe in and out, and how quickly you can empty your lungs.
Spirometry is commonly used to investigate symptoms such as:
– Shortness of breath
– Wheezing o Chronic cough
– Chest tightness
– Reduced exercise tolerance
It is also used to diagnose and monitor lung conditions such as:
– Asthma
-Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
– Bronchiectasis
– Other respiratory disorders
